Ghost Recon Network is a companion app to Ghost Recon: Future Solider that allows you to customize your weapons before setting out on missions.
The app is similar to the GunSmith area in the actual game. You are able to customize your weapons from the trigger, magazine, and various rail attachments and see how the customizations change the output of the weapon.
Once you connect Ghost Recon: Future Soldier to your Uplay account, you can connect Ghost Recon Network to your game and sync changes in the app to your game.

This means you can manage your squad and your multiplayer loadout on the go.
The free mode of Ghost Recon Network lets you customize 40 weapons from pistols to assault rifles and sniper rifles. Ghost Recon Network works well on both tablets and phones, though the use of Unity may cause a slight lag between loading different weapons.

But Ghost Recon Network feels exactly like GunSmith in Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.
Once synced to your Uplay account, the app will eventually load a news feed and information from your account.
